The good old ADDIE model typically
benefits by being somewhat modified
from its compartmentalized "waterfall"
approach to accommodate the realities
of contemporary rapid e-Learning
development.  These include greater
use of a full Rapid Prototype phase for
a representative module, particularly
when there are several related
e-Learning modules to be developed.
In addition, getting feedback from
learners early in the development
process, as well as later on, can pay
big dividends.  AND, in an era of
tighter training budgets, management
is typically more interested than ever in
demonstrating Return on Investment,
so Summative Evaluation requires
more attention.
